Art in the secret chamber ?

Updated: Apr 2, 2023

That's very nearly what happened to me and my works of art.

But I should introduce myself first: I live and work as a visual artist in Munich and have made art my second career. After years as a self-employed interim manager, painting at some point "demanded its right". Not an easy decision, because the circumstances are currently anything but promising for artists out on the wild side.

Why I still stick to it and believe in the idea to contribute with my colorful, abstract expressive artwork something to the idea that we should not bury our heads in the sand, but grab and take our fate into our own hands, you will learn in different facets in my blog. I write about art and management, about exhibitions and everyday observations. Sometimes also about my paintings and my work process, because that's also an important part of my artistic life.

Making a secret of it, that's very nearly what happened to me and my works of art.

Loud slogans, flat advertising, underhanded sales tricks - none of that suits me at all. I'm not shy, but I don't want to impose myself. Being found, being discovered - I find that much more charming.

But how can the world find me if I don't even illuminate my "shop window," let alone invite people over to my sofa for a casual chat?

For the digital world, the shop window is my website, and the first invitation to a little chat is a few thoughts and views on art and management, which you will find here in my blog. So you are welcome at any time of the day or night, not only at exhibitions or openings...

I am very happy to receive your comments and questions. Even more so about those readers who also subscribe to my studio updates and thus learn more about my career and get first access to new works as well as the videos that not everyone gets to see. So the real look behind the scenes....

And for a visit or a meeting in Munich or at Lake Constance, I would appreciate if you could make an appointment in advance - simply by using the contact form, via e-mail or on the phone.

Let's have a chat! - CU soon.
